All Aboard for MADE 2015 Launch
A bus load of business experts are helping to launch MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival 2015, when StartUp Britain’s Bus Tour visits Sheffield on Friday 31 July.
The nationwide bus tour is set to join forces with MADE festival organisers and Business Sheffield’s Advice Team to offer a host of activity including free mentoring and workshops, aimed at anyone interested in starting or growing a business.
Parking up at Barkers Pool, the StartUp Britain Bus Tour is all about connecting start-up entrepreneurs, mentors and business experts to unleash entrepreneurship across Britain, making it a perfect partner for MADE Festival.
Anyone seeking guidance or information will be able to stop by any time between 6pm and 8pm to get advice, network with local entrepreneurs and get connected to national business support organisations.
Sheffield’s own business support organisation, Business Sheffield will also be on board the bus to offer their specialist start up support and local knowledge for business growth.
Bus goers will also get an exclusive discount code for the main MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival event at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday 22 October, available only to those who turn up in person.
Announced last month, this year’s lineup of inspirational entrepreneurs includes former member of JLS, JB Gill and multi-millionaire mumpreneur Annabel Karmel
As well as the usual mix of inspirational success stories, this year’s MADE will focus on offering festival goers practical hands-on advice with a series of MADE Masterclasses covering a range of key business topics such as low cost digital marketing, increasing sales and outstanding customer service.
StartUp Britain are one of MADE Festival’s main strategic support partners, alongside other national bodies such as the Centre for Entrepreneurs and NACUE. The arrival of the StartUp Britain Bus will therefore be a fitting way to kick start the countdown to this year’s festival.
Key festival sponsors include Irwin Mitchell, The University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and The Sheffield College.
