Henry Boot step up with a £22,500 donation to St Luke’s Hospice

THE Henry Boot Group of Companies has raised more than £22,500 for Sheffield’s St Luke’s Hospice after a year-long charity partnership.

The company did everything from a wold walk to a race night, a Bake Off and barbecue, a mega raffle and a dress down day, raising a final total of £22,540 for Sheffield’s only hospice.

We have developed a great relationship with the St Luke’s team and hope to continue to develop this in future years,” said Amy Oakley, who leads the Henry Boot fundraising committee.

They really got involved in helping me and the committee to organise last year’s events, and were always keen to support us whenever possible.

“I am so proud to have been part of the team that raised such an incredible sum to support their work.”

Jack Kidder, Corporate Fundraising Manager at St Luke’s, said: “we are so grateful to everyone at Henry Boot for the amazing support they have given to St Luke’s.

“We have been impressed by their dedication, commitment and passion for supporting our vital work caring for adults with a terminal illness and their loved ones in Sheffield.

“The Henry Boot team developed and delivered an exciting range of fundraising events and opportunities and everyone here at St Luke’s is very grateful for the impact they have had on our work.

“We need to raise £6.3 million this year so every penny really counts. When a company raises such a large amount for us, we can’t thank them enough. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Henry Boot for many years to come.”
