Tackling Brexit and the hostile immigration environment
Immigration law specialists MyUKVisas have had a strong start to 2019 taking on two extra staff and opening a second office in Sheffield. Over the course of the last 12 months the firm has helped clients from over 60 different countries, as well as advising local businesses on how to retain and recruit international staff post-Brexit.
The firm was founded in Huddersfield by Arta Heath, an immigration solicitor with more than 20 years experience. She said: ‘The combination of Brexit and the hostile immigration environment in the UK is making it harder and harder for people to succeed with applications to live and work in this country. It has also caused many international workers in this country to question whether they really want to be here. It’s important that employers with international staff take the time to understand how their workers feel and act to support them.’
MyUKVisas has offices in John William Street, Huddersfield, and Castle Square, Sheffield. It serves both private and business clients. On the private client side it helps people to secure work, study, family, and visit visas as well as citizenship applications, and EU settlement. For business it offers advice on sponsorship licences, work visas and Brexit.
