Atherton Godfrey Solicitors supports Cavendish Cancer Care with partner sponsorship
Local charity, Cavendish Cancer Care, are delighted to have the support of award-winning legal firm, Atherton Godfrey, on its upcoming Sheffield Together run/walk.
The team at Atherton Godfrey have already participated in previous fundraising activities for the charity and volunteered during Christmas time. Now, Cavendish is thrilled that the team will be sponsoring Sheffield Together, one of their most popular yearly fundraising events.
Matthew Gascoyne, Senior Solicitor at the firm, says, “I and all at Atherton Godfrey are extremely proud to sponsor Cavendish Cancer Care and Sheffield Together. A diagnosis of cancer brings its own worries and concerns on top of those from everyday life. The care and support provided by Cavendish to people living with cancer, and their families, is invaluable and we are delighted to be able work together to support this. Sheffield Together will be a fun way to get involved and raise funds for vital Cavendish services.”

For Cavendish Cancer Care, Sheffield Together and other fundraising events are vital. The charity is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer, providing free of charge therapies and support. However, they receive only enough government funding to keep their doors open for two weeks out of the year. This means that we rely on the generosity and support of local people, and businesses like Atherton Godfrey to make our events a real success for the charity.
Sheffield Together 2020 is sure to be the biggest and best one yet. Join in on Sunday 8th March and sign up here
