Event Title: Human Capital Management
Where: Cent@Magna - Rotherham
Member Cost: £10.00

Event description:

This seminar will explore how human capital management (HCM) is qualitatively different to human resource management (HRM) as it exists in most organisations today.

HCM focuses on maximising the capability and engagement of all the people working for an organisation. HCM does this through best fit with a particular organisation, its mission, vision, values and external environment, rather than on implementing a set of standard best practices as in HRM.

This creates valuable intangible capability, human capital, which increasingly provides the key to unlocking great business performance.  Jon Ingham, of Learning Light, will outline a strategic process for both the management and measurement of human capital and the HCM processes that underpin this.

Followed by a light buffet. Buffet and refreshments are included in the price.

All seminars on Wednesday 10th October 2007 can be attended for a one-off fee of £10 + vat for Sheffield Chamber members or £15 + vat for non-members.
