Members of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce have a chance to give local election candidates a breakfast-time grilling about business matters at a free event.

Leaders from four political parties will give a brief introduction to their party and then invite questions at the ‘Meet Your Candidates’ meeting to be held at the Chamber’s Albion House headquarters at 8am on Wednesday, April 30.

Chaired by Nick Williams, chairman of Sheffield Chamber Council, the event will last for about an hour and feature a panel made up of:

Cllr Anne Smith, Conservative
Cllr Tim Rippon, Labour
Cllr Paul Scriven, Liberal Democrats
Cllr Jillian Creasy, Green Party
Sheffield Chamber policy and representation manager Helen Rana said: “This event will offer an invaluable opportunity for local business people to find out more about each political party's priorities and proposals, prior to the local elections.”
