The synthpop sounds of Heaven 17 will sweep across the rooftops of their home city when they play a unique gig on top of Sheffield Hallam University's Owen Building. The gig will take place on Wednesday 30 July at 6pm in support of the Wednesday Night Live campaign (see attachment).
20 lucky fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime experience of joining the band on the roof to see the show close up. The rest of the audience will be able to watch the show for free in Hallam Square below (the University's main city campus entrance between Arundel Gate and Howard Street).
The original band members Glen Gregory and Martyn Ware will lead the band through an hour-long set featuring their massive 1980's hits, including Temptation, Let Me Go and Crushed by the Wheels of Industry.
