A business helpline - supported by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce - has been opened as a central point for advice and assistance for businesses still suffering due to the floods.
Following the City Council's launch of a public helpline for individual people affected by the floods, a dedicated business helpline has been launched (0800 915 6913) to deliver advice and information to assist Sheffield businesses of all sizes and sectors who have been affected by the flooding.
Advice will range from information on practical issues such as road closures, power The Sheffield Business helpline has been established through a partnership between Creative Sheffield, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Business Link South Yorkshire. The helpline will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday until further notice. Sheffield Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Nigel Tomlinson said: "The business recovery programme will be vital to the Sheffield business community in the coming days and weeks. "We have had many offers of help from our own members as a result of our headquarters being out of action because of the floods. We can help them now and are delighted to be fully involved with this scheme to provide effective partnership help and support to business victims of the flood."
