Tickets are now on sale for Sheffield FC’s high profile pre-season friendly against a Rangers reserve side on July 31 (kick off 7.30pm).

Entry to the game is £8 for Adults and £4 for concessions and tickets can be purchased from the club's Coach and Horses pub, nglasgow_rangers_logoext to the Bright Finance stadium, between 12 noon and 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Supporters will also be able to purchase tickets via Sheffield FC's official website http://www.sheffieldfc.com/ for the first time in the club's history.

The all-ticket clash with Rangers reserves forms part of the joint our150th anniversary celebrations of Sheffield FC and the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.

It will be the Scottish giants' first ever visit to the Bright Finance Stadium and supporters are advised to purchase tickets quickly as they will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Sheffield FC chairman Richard Tims, said: "We are delighted Rangers have agreed to send a side to celebrate the start of our 150th season.

It's a massive coup for our club and it will be great preparation for the team ahead of the first ever campaign in the Unibond League

"Sheffield versus Glasgow games go back more than 130 years, so we are pleased to continue this long-standing relationship with north of the border.

"Selling tickets via the website is also a step forward for a club of our size and if successful we might look at extending this to all our games in the future."
