John Pearson, the former CEO and co-founder of Virgin Radio, will join the International Business Network (IBN) In the “County Suite" at the newly re-furbished Doncaster Race Course on the 25th September. Offering the benefit of his extensive experience, John, who worked closely with Richard Branson and the Virgin Brand through some of Virgin's most spectacular growth years, will cover topics including: How does Virgin keep the same culture across so many different market sectors? How do you operate in 30 countries with 15,000 staff and still keep the same behaviours? How much of it is planned and how much is down to luck and circumstances? Importantly – can it be copied or transported to your business? As usual we will also be joined by our inspirational Regional Poet and Chairman in Residence, Ian McMillan. A panel session including recent winners of the Queens Awards Scheme will also inform the audience on how they have benefited from winning such prestigious accolades. There will be plenty of time available for the all-important networking and the event is open to Regional Businesses already trading internationally or about to do so. Any companies or organizations not fulfilling these criteria will be included at our discretion. There will also be one or two surprises in store....... Registration will be at 16:00 for a 16:30 start. Make a date in your diary - Places are always in demand and allocated on a strictly "First Come, First Served" basis, so it is wise to book early. To register, please contact: Jonathan Garlinge UK Trade & Investment Victoria House 2, Victoria Place Leeds.
