Friday, 21 September 2007
Sheffield Chamber is encouraging members to share their views on business issues in the city by participating in an breakfast meeting with Sheffield City Council.

The second ‘Ask Jan and Bob’ event is being held on Friday (Sept 28) and gives attendees the opportunity to discuss the future of the city with council leader Jan Wilson and chief executive Bob Kerslake.

Delegates at the breakfast meeting will also be asked to take part in a survey for ‘Your Council, Your Say’ - a consultation and communications event being held on 28 and 29 September in the city centre, and on 5 October in Hillsborough and 6 October in Crystal Peaks.  Your Council, Your Say is also online at www.sheffield.gov.uk/yoursay

The council is asking members of the public for their response on a number of key questions about safety. The event is being held at the Town Hall in the Reception Rooms from 7.30 am – 9.00 am. Breakfast will be provided from 7.30 am onwards with the session due to start at approximately 7.45 am.

A question form will also be provided to enable all attendees to receive feedback even if all individuals do not get the chance to ask a question in the allotted time.

Please confirm attendance by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or calling (0114) 2734240.  Please title your email ‘Business Ask Jan and Bob’.  Places are available strictly on a first come first served basis.
