The right business software is helping an expanding Derbyshire company to reach new profit and performance peaks.

Chesterfield-based the Peak Group is one of the fastest growing companies in the interior design, fitting, construction and consultancy sectors. Established ten years ago, the Group now has a client portfolio which includes household retail names Nike, Monsoon, Ikea, Boden and Alliance & Leicester. 

The Group’s accounting and management reporting systems could not keep pace with the rapid rate of expansion. So, after a major IT review, it turned to award-winning business solutions specialists, the Holbrook IT Group, who have delivered a tailormade hardware and software fit.

Holbrook, which has offices in Sheffield and Manchester, has installed the SQL-based Access Dimensions accounting package, further cementing its position as the second largest Access dealership in the country.

It has also supplied Peak with an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool which will allow them to manage their business and sales activity more effectively.

Finance Director St.John Sutcliffe said: “Since upgrading to Access Dimensions I’m no longer doing the late nights I used to, the level of integration has enabled me to produce our management reports much more quickly.

“Holbrook assessed our current and future needs and the implementation has delivered a significant increase in security, processing speed and system capacity.”

It has implemented systems across a wide range of industry sectors and boasts an expanding client portfolio which includes Henri Lloyd, the fashion clothing and sailing apparel company, and Topps Tiles.
