The South Yorkshire International Trade Centre (SYITC) has proved to be a real benefit to the region’s businesses after recording a 100 per cent satisfaction level from customers for a second time!

An independent survey revealed that every single respondent gave the organisation the ‘thumbs up’ – and declared SYITC services a business benefit.

The survey uncovered a wealth of praise for the SYITC including the extensive knowledge and support provided by the trade advisors. Respondents also commented on the “professionalism and efficiency of service”.

Every single respondent also said that they would look to use the SYITC’s services again and would recommend the organisation to others. More than ten per cent of respondents had already recommended the SYITC.

The survey, conducted by QA Research, on from the 100 percent satisfaction recorded in the last survey conducted.

SYITC trade centre manager Renate Halton said: “We’re constantly striving to provide the best possible service and are pleased that this has been recognised by our customers.

“The comments highlight the dedication, knowledge and skills of our staff and the results are a testament to their commitment to helping customers.

“This is confirmation that we are achieving our mission – to support local companies in all aspects of international trade and that in turn is incredibly satisfying for us.

“To have attained 100 per cent customer satisfaction for a second time is truly a feat to be proud of and we’ll look to build even further on these achievements.”

The SYITC provides essential international trade related services including expert advice, market information, research and grant support. The centre is leading the region’s biggest ever project to boost international trade after securing more than £7m of funding to help South Yorkshire businesses develop their overseas potential.

The three-year funding package, called the ‘South Yorkshire International Trade Project’, is valued at £7.41m and has been issued to the SYITC jointly by Yorkshire Forward, Objective 1 and UK Trade and Investment under contract with Business Link South Yorkshire.
