Our self-catering weekend leisure breaks have continued to be very popular, and our mid-week corporate business has been growing steadily. We've had the opportunity to welcome some great new clients and enjoy return visits from old favourites! Recently Mars drinks, Egg Direct, Rolls Royce and Dixons have passed through our door, giving wonderful feedback regarding their stay with us.

We've launched our very own Sladen Networking group, a phenomenal success, supported by a bunch of people with a great deal of energy, enthusiasm and commitment. The Lodge has been a perfect venue for the group, successfully accommodating up to 25 members at a time.

It's been really interesting to see how creatively different groups are using the venue to add value to their event. We've been host to coaching training workshops, offered a superb haven for the residential model of a leadership development programme; on several occasions the lodge has been the perfect setting for a celebratory team event away from the office, making use of the outdoor wonders on our doorstep in the Hope Valley.  Increasingly companies are simply using the Lodge as an inspirational location for an uninterrupted meeting place, away from the office, perfect for thrashing out difficult work issues.

What makes this place special is the fact it's not a hotel or conference centre; it's exclusively yours for whatever purpose you require, and we are constantly being complimented on the friendliness of the staff and our excellent home cooking.
