Paul Tinsley has been named SENTA’s new business support manager. Paul has considerable experience with the agency, having previously held the positions of New Entrepreneur Scholarship (NES) project manager and enterprise manager. His new post will include having responsibility for existing contracts, new deals and working with Sheffield's LEGI funded programme "BiG - Make It Your Business". The LEGI programme aims to release the economic and productivity potential of the most deprived local areas through enterprise and investment. Paul will work with an advisory team to ensure that the requirements of the existing clients are met, while also making sure that the agency’s services are easily accessible to new business enterprises in the more socially deprived areas of Sheffield. Said Paul: “It is both challenging and exciting providing support to people who wouldn’t normally engage with mainstream business activity. It is my job to encourage those people to take advantage of the many valuable services SENTA has to offer.” SENTA head of enterprise Mandip Dosanjh said: “Paul already has great experience with SENTA, and undoubtedly has the skills and qualities to be a very successful business support manager. His knowledge and expertise will be an asset to staff, existing clients and new business start-ups.”
SENTA is part of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and provides fully integrated support to new business start-ups and businesses up to two years old. Its start-up programme is funded by Yorkshire Forward under contract with Business Link South Yorkshire. |
