Ogilvie Fleet, the Stirling based UK top 40 fleet company continues to honour its expansion commitments with a new divisional office being opened at Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield. Over the next three years the Stirling based Fleet Solutions company will be committing to an investment of almost half a million pounds in the new venture, creating 6 new jobs immediately and with plans for more as the division develops.

Heading up the new division in Sheffield will be Nick Hardy, who arrives with almost 20 years experience of working in and jointly running another Sheffield based company, TCH Leasing. Nick is joined by a number of previous TCH colleagues, all carefully selected to complement the existing Ogilvie operation and deliver on its expansion plans. Together the team, including Ashley Crookes, Nick Faulkner, Dan Price, Louise Blair and Matt Topham bring over 40 years of fleet and leasing expertise to Ogilvie Fleet.

Commenting on the new operation, Divisional Director Nick Hardy said:

“We chose Sheffield as the base for this new operation for a number of reasons, not least of all the excellent transport links and the growing popularity of the city as a genuine place to do business. The offices and facilities at Thorncliffe Park are first class and the proximity to the M1 made the decision all the easier. We’re already working with a number of local suppliers, including, OSi Office Furniture Supplies, Thorncliffe Park Communications, Wired Workplace and we have joined the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, links are being forged with various local sporting clubs and I reckon it’s fair to say that the Ogilvie branding will become a regular sight in Sheffield and the surrounding are”..

Further commenting on the move, Nick said:

“The strength of the Ogilvie name, their undoubted commitment to future development, exceptional client service process and incredible enthusiasm for delivering innovative solutions was enough to persuade me to make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity. To be able to do so with such a knowledgeable and dedicated team of people was truly the icing on the cake and will make for an exceptional client proposition. I’m very confident that the Ogilvie brand will become even stronger in the months ahead and that more and more Yorkshire based fleets will want to know about the very unique benefits available from this hidden gem of the UK leasing market”.

Uniquely, Ogilvie remain a family business, headed up by Duncan Ogilvie, and therefore the concentration on delivery of first class service is of paramount importance to the structure and continued growth of the business.

Ogilvie Fleet work in partnership with clients to establish best practice in fleet operations and have many unique benefits that can be accessed by all chamber members. Specifically, any chamber member will automatically receive credit mileage terms on any contracts and will be allowed access to preferential terms that take away the headache often associated with sending vehicles back before the end of the contract.
