Sheffield will once again be showing why it is the sexiest city in the country when it gets all loved up for the fourth annual Love 2B celebration.

This year's nine day extravaganza officially kicks off on 9 February and runs through to 17 February and will see a whole host of events and activities taking place which are sure to raise temperatures across the city.

Single ladies could find true love at a bachelor auction in aid of St Luke's Hospice being held at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane ground, youngsters can love a lamb at Whirlow Hall Farm and Sheffield Hallam University will get into the loving feeling when it shows the northern premiere of Breda Beban's acclaimed passionate love film, The Most Beautiful woman in Gucha.

Athletics golden girl Kelly Holmes will also be in the city giving a lecture at Sheffield Hallam and saying what she loves about the place where she broke the British 1500m record.

Last year's festival, which had glamorous TV couple and dancing duo Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova as stars of the event, raised thousands of pounds for charity and was shortlisted as the best community event in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Awards.

For Love2B 2008 organisations and businesses are cuddling up together to raise the profile of the city nationally and make it the biggest and best festival yet.

Love 2B in Sheffield is coordinated by Sheffield Hallam University and partners. More events will be taking place in the run up- to the festival's launch. For a full list of events visit www.love2b.com
