Sheffield Chamber of Commerce has promoted Mandip Dosanjh to SENTA enterprise director.
Mandip has been elevated following a highly successful six months as head of enterprise for Sheffield Enterprise Agency (SENTA), part of Sheffield Chamber.

In his new role Mandip will be responsible for the strategic development of SENTA and its support networks.
Mandip said: “More than 2,500 potential entrepreneurs came to us last year to find out more about setting up a business. From these initial enquiries almost 600 new businesses have been set up in our city, which makes us a hot bed for entrepreneurship nationally.
“Now I’m relishing the chance to bridge the gap between enterprise and education and build on the organisation’s previous successes, which are having a real and lasting impact on the ongoing regeneration of Sheffield.”
Mike Smalley, Chair of SENTA, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Mandip as director of SENTA. I am sure that he will make a valuable contribution to the board, bringing his insight and strategic ambition to further develop SENTA’s services.”
SENTA has been part of Sheffield Chamber since 2002 provides fully integrated support to new business start-ups and businesses up to two years old.
SENTA encourages new entrepreneurs in Sheffield to develop their ideas and skills, creating business growth, regeneration and new employment opportunities within the local economy.
