The Train to Gain Enhancement Fund has received £30m for the Yorkshire and Humber region and up to 60% funding* towards training is available to companies.

Companies who sign up to Train to Gain Enhancement Fund receive up to 60% funding* towards the overall cost of training, with the remaining balance paid by the employer.

Up to £20,000 funding is available per claim - businesses can apply as many times as required.

Once the full process has taken place, the application is either approved for the company or declined.

If the application is approved:

1. An enhancement fund skills broker will make an initial visit to business to support and complete the necessary paperwork and evidence any further requirements (inc SME payment)
2. Training is undertaken
3. A final monitoring visit will take place to collect evidence and verify that the training is complete prior to 60% payment to business being made
4. Ongoing support available from Chamber Training Services.
