It is always better to received good news. Therefore, we are starting our 2010 calendar of events on a positive.

On the 12th November 2009 CO2Sense Yorkshire was launched bringing together programmes such as Recycling Action Yorkshire, Future Energy Yorkshire and Carbon Action Yorkshire together under a single brand. Without reducing capabilities this restructuring made accessing support simpler and more coordinated. Now that the dust has settled, with new initiatives being launched and developed and the fast approaching new financial year we have invited Chief Executive Joanne Pollard to introduce CO2Sense to the South Yorkshire Green Business Club.

Joanne's presentation will focus on CO2Sense's rationale, the business potential within Yorkshire and Humberside, future developments in the carbon market and business opportunities. This will cover the existing sector specific support provided by REY, FEY and CAY but also highlight area where Yorkshire Forward and CO2Sense are focusing attention with new financial support.
