How to develop and protect your ideas for low carbon and energy saving technologies

FREE open seminar and consultation event

This free event is aimed at all SMEs within South Yorkshire and is open to anyone from any sector who is interested in the varied business opportunities which are available in developing low carbon / energy
saving technologies. The event includes a series of presentations by experts in research,
technology, investment and intellectual property.

Alongside the presentations you'll be free to speak to representatives from each of the event sponsors in a one-on-one break out session, where you can talk in confi dence about developing your ideas and the opportunities available for investment.

How to develop and protect your ideas for low carbon and energy saving technologies.

The aim of the event is to discover clever new technology from any sector and commercialise it here in the South Yorkshire region.

What if I don't currently have a carbon saving idea?
The various presentations during this event are aimed at getting you thinking about what technology you might have developed as part of your streamlining and effi ciency measures, and to highlight
the opportunities and support on offer to businesses developing these technologies.

What if I do have a carbon saving idea?
Don't broadcast it! The break out sessions on the day will give you the opportunity to discuss you ideas in confi dence. Don't disclose your idea outside these sessions as this can impact on your ability to
gain patent protection.
