The first South Yorkshire Sales Academy is being established to help businesses improve revenue during 2010.

Huthwaite International, the market leading sales training organisation that works with major blue chip companies across the world, has teamed-up with the South Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce to develop the unique Academy.

Sheffield Chamber will work alongside Chambers in Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster to ensure the Sales Academy becomes available to more businesses around the region.

The Sales Academy is set to start in April and run over a five-week period, taking place at the Huthwaite International's headquarters at Hoober House in Wentworth.

Training includes consultative selling, managing complex sales, negotiating, networking and persuasive presentations and proposals.

The learning the Academy will bring offers South Yorkshire organisations the chance to compete from a world class training platform, against larger corporate organisations.
