Freeths strengthen insolvency & restructuring offering for Yorkshire
Freeths LLP has bolstered its Restructuring & Insolvency Team in Sheffield with the appointment of Senior Associate, Isobel Callaghan from Lupton Fawcett LLP.
Isobel has joined the growing insolvency and restructuring practice in the city, working in the wider team of five fee-earners, alongside Partner and Head of Department, Oliver Jackson.
Isobel has over nine years’ experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. She works closely with insolvency practitioners, directors and owners of businesses, accountants and individuals in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency law.
Isobel provides commercial and practical advice to clients including assisting insolvency practitioners in pursuing claims arising from insolvency estates and the merits of those claims.
Isobel is very well regarded in the local market and is an experienced insolvency lawyer. She advises on corporate insolvencies (including administrations, liquidations and CVAs) and complex bankruptcy matters, including dealing with potential claims for preferences and transactions at undervalue and misfeasance actions.
