Alex has lived and worked in Sheffield for over 20 years, and represents Sheffield Hallam University on the Council. His work is focussed on enabling businesses to collaborate and grow through working with the University’s academic expertise, applying this knowledge to help businesses to grow and prosper. Sheffield Hallam has a clear commitment to the region’s economy across skills, R&D and public engagement, and sees active engagement as a patron of the Chamber as a significant part of this.
Outside of work, Alex has two teenage sons and enjoys the outdoors and music.
