Green Estate CIC

Why do you value being a Chamber council member?

Businesses can make a real positive difference to our city and the people who live and work here. I really value the opportunity to connect with others across the city who are interested in unleashing the full potential of Sheffield.

What’s the most important thing you bring to the Council, to benefit Chamber members?

I am the lucky CEO of The Green Estate Community Interest Company and the Co-Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission Adaptation and Resilience Panel, so I bring with me knowledge, skills, networks and ‘energy’ to build a greener and fairer future for this city.

Why is Sheffield the best UK city to live, work and play?

Sheffield is known as the country’s biggest village and I love that sense of community despite this being a big city.  Sheffield is also known as ‘the outdoor city’ and much is made of the green and open spaces and trees. These assets will be invaluable as we face into an uncertain environmental and economic future We should treasure them!
