Sam Christmas

Head of Membership and Events

Sam joined the Chamber in 2015 following 6 years working for an international events management company, where he was responsible for delivering fan engagement events at Formula 1 tracks around the world.

Sam’s primary responsibility is to devise and deliver the Chamber’s annual events programme. Alongside this, Sam is responsible for recruiting new members and raising the profile of the Chamber while managing a select portfolio of clients who partner with the Chamber on various events and projects. He is also the Chamber’s representative on two of the Chamber’s Forums, the Visitor Economy Forum and the International Business Forum.

Alongside his employment with Sheffield Chamber Sam is a part-time student at The Open University where he is currently studying for a BA (Hons) Degree in International Relations (Politics Specialism). In his spare time when not studying, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors playing golf, tennis, walking, running and mountain biking as well as socialising with colleagues, friends and family.
