Both Sheffield Chamber and Sheffield International Trade Centre are working very closely with the British Chambers of Commerce, who in turn are in liaising with the government. We are conducting daily web meetings with the Executive Directors, feeding in major concerns of businesses and in turn the cabinet.

The Sheffield Covid-19 Business Response Group
Sheffield’s leading business networks and support organisations are working together to help address the issues local businesses are now facing and into the future. The Sheffield Covid-19 Business Response Group was formed to help identify the needs of the local community and raise awareness about the support and resources available to businesses across the Sheffield city region.
The group is a collaborative partnership between Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield City Region, Sheffield Digital, Sheffield Property Association, Sheffield Business Together, the Institute of Directors and the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire.
Coronavirus Business Impact Tracker
The BCC’s new tracker will serve as a barometer of business’ response to the government’s measures and changes to business’ working practices over the next few months. It will also track how quickly new government interventions, introduced to deal with the real-world impact of this crisis, are getting to the businesses at the front line.
