Home Care’s Got Talent Choir releasing their own Christmas single

9th December 2025

A group of nine caregivers from home care organisations across the UK have come together to form the Home Care’s Got Talent Choir, releasing their own Christmas single with the hope of claiming this year’s festive number one.

Their version of the much-loved 90s hit Angels has been recorded to spotlight the care sector and the extraordinary people working within it.

The choir stepped into the world-famous Abbey Road Studios to record the track, adding their voices to the long list of iconic artists who have made music there. The studio also features heavily in the single’s music video, which blends behind-the-scenes footage with heart-warming clips of the caregivers supporting their clients in their day-to-day lives.

Well-known names who appeared as judges during this year’s Home Care’s Got Talent competition have also lent their talents to the single. Kuill from The Voice, Married at First Sight UK star Matt Jameson, and Bucks Fizz legend Jay Aston all contributed to the track. The official  music video is available to watch now.

Representing agencies including Caremark, Home Instead, Voyage Care, Visiting Angels, CCH Mochridhe, Vitality Home Health and Calon Lan Community Care, the caregivers travelled from all corners of the UK – from Scotland to North Wales – to take part. With support gathering across the care sector, including backing from Bluebird Care, the choir hopes their rendition can even surpass the original release’s chart performance back in 1997.

While the single celebrates the brilliant work of care professionals, it also carries a powerful charitable mission. Every download will raise funds for the Care Workers’ Charity, which provides financial assistance, mental health support, and advocacy for the social care workforce – the people who deliver essential care to more than a million individuals nationwide.

Dan Archer, UK CEO of Visiting Angels and creator of Home Care’s Got Talent, explained how the idea grew:

“This whole journey started after this year’s Home Care’s Got Talent final, when someone challenged me to produce a Christmas number one using the incredible singers we’ve discovered over the past two years. ‘Angels’ immediately felt right – its lyrics echo the very heart of care work: ‘and through it all, she offers me protection.’ Watching this come to life with the backing of care workers and industry supporters has been extraordinary.”

The charity single is now released and can be streamed across all major music platforms.
