IBM and VMware have established a growing partnership to make cloud adoption fast and easy. Lucas is working alongside business analysts and clients presenting his perspective on Multicloud, in an ever changing cloud infrastructure landscape Forrester have estimated that 80% of Virtual Machines and workloads have not yet moved to the cloud, Lucas is helping clients with this challenge. VMware VMs that reside on-premises, 50% are forecasted to move to the cloud by 2021. With IBM, you can more easily extend your VMware workloads from your on-premises environment to the IBM Cloud.
Duncan Austin – Cloud Director at etiCloud
A Physics graduate from Imperial College London, Duncan has been responsible for the design and build of our Cloud infrastructure. Security is his specialism, and he has a vast knowledge of locking down systems while achieving unmatched performance levels. Duncan has been designing, building and maintaining cloud systems for more than 15 years. His IT career includes 5 years working on Solaris, 10 years providing security consultancy for aerospace and media clients as well as many of the largest financial institutions in the UK and Europe. He was also technical lead on the original security system and global network for lastminute.com.
