Sheffield Chamber are delighted to announce the launch of our brand new networking group, Inspiring Women.
The Chamber has always been committed to promoting diversity in the workplace and this networking group is an opportunity to champion the Inspiring Women from across the Sheffield City Region.
This event will provide an opportunity to expand and create relationships, whilst also encouraging greater equality and diversity throughout the workplace. The concept is simple, informal networking in a friendly environment, hosting a different keynote speaker at each event.
We are delighted to announce that the first Inspiring Women event will be held in partnership with Vine Hotels at the brand new Laura Ashley Tea Room at Kenwood Hall.
Our keynote speaker will be Sheffield Chamber’ new Director of Operations, Stella Steele.
Showing tremendous fortitude to balance the many challenges faced in business, join us to hear Stella’s story of how she has juggled her career with being a mum, overcoming a brain tumour, all while successfully studying for and achieving a Masters in Employment Law. Having had a far from orthodox career to date, Stella has experience of setting up and running her own business as well as experience managing organisations in the third sector, private sector and an interesting role in the public sector.
An inspiration to all, Stella is extremely passionate about gender equality, employee rights and women in business, making her the perfect speaker to launch the Chambers Inspiring Women.
Guests will be treated to Traditional Afternoon Tea and a welcome drink on arrival. There will be ample opportunities to network with fellow Chamber members and business professionals in a unique but informal environment.
Tickets are priced at £20.00 + VAT for members of Sheffield Chamber and £25 + VAT for non-members.

The Laura Ashley Tea Room is located in the Drawing room which is a part of the original house. Kenwood Hall is located in one of Sheffield’s most beautiful suburbs. The oldest part of the hotel was built as the private residence of Sheffield cutlery manufacturer George Wostenholm in 1845. After his death in 1876 Kenwood Park, as it was then known, was inherited by his widow. Her second husband, Thomas Beaumont, added a major extension to the house in 1882-3.
