Sheffield Chamber President Darren Pearce, invites you to join him at one of Sheffield Chamber’s showcase events to celebrate the best of Sheffield business. This successful, well established and greatly respected event within the region, provides networking opportunities at the highest level.
This year the President’s Annual Dinner will focus on two key areas of success.
1. The Outdoor City
Sheffield is a leading destination for people seeking outdoor adventure, city culture and rural escapes. Runners, walkers, road cyclists and mountain bikers flock to our city to exploit the peak district moors on our doorstep. We want to celebrate we are The Outdoor City, that our eclectic mix of outdoor events, public parks and world leading sports facilities makes Sheffield a place to put on the map.
Joining us on the night, GO Outdoors’ founder John Graham will tell us how he turned his love for the outdoors into business success. Johns story is very unique and he is known for his empowering and motivational speeches, so he is not one to be missed if you wish to feel inspired.
2. Advanced Manufacturing
The great and revolutionary work Sheffield City Region is doing in advanced manufacturing.
This black tie dinner, is one of the most high profile dates on the region’s business calendar, attracting in the region of 300 business delegates and key city leaders. A drinks reception is followed by a three course meal with table wine, two headline speakers and live entertainment.
Hosted once again by Harry Gration of BBC Look North, the evening will see key business leaders gather for one of the best nights on the business calendar.
In 2016 Sheffield Chamber launched it’s Hall of Fame award, which recognised our city’s unsung heroes across the community and business sectors. During the event this year we will once again honour several individuals into the Chambers Hall of Fame. The event is also a fund raising evening for the Chamber’s official charity, which this year is Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
