Join Team Dragonfly at the Great North Run and be part of something truly special.
By choosing to run for Dragonfly Cancer Trust, you’ll be supporting children and young people facing a life-limiting cancer diagnosis - helping us create precious memories for them and their families when time matters most.
The money you raise helps us provide activity boxes to hospitals and hospices across the UK - including Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Weston Park right here in Sheffield - as well as memory-making experiences, keepsakes, cash gifts, and emotional support for families during some of the most difficult times of their lives. Your support allows us to reach even more children and young people across the UK and continue this vital work.
When you join Team Dragonfly, you’ll receive:
A guaranteed Great North Run place
A Dragonfly Cancer Trust running vest
Friendly support and guidance in the lead-up to race day
Access to our runner WhatsApp group - a lovely space to share training tips, fundraising ideas, encouragement and advice
On race day, you and your friends/family are invited to our charity village tent, where refreshments and celebrations will be waiting for you
Registration fee: £40
Minimum sponsorship: £360
Already have your own place through the ballot? You can still run for Dragonfly Cancer Trust and fundraise whatever you can, every donation helps us support young cancer patients across the UK.
