Pride of Yorkshire | Coffee Morning & Information Session
An opportunity for businesses, venues, tourism and culture partners, schools and community groups to find out more about a region-wide campaign coming in summer 2026.
In summer 2026, 300 life-sized lion sculptures will go wild across South Yorkshire as the Pride of Yorkshire roars into action!
On Wednesday 19 November at Steel City Stadium (Olympic Legacy Park), Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity will be peeling back the curtain of their latest sculpture trail, and revealing how Barnsley will be involved and see its streets turned into a safari! Interested businesses are invited to find out more about becoming a sponsor for the trail, and how their business can benefit from the campaign.
So come along to meet the charity team over a coffee, get a sneak peek at some of the lion designs and come face-to-face with the very first completed sculptures for the trail.
To RSVP to the event, please email sculptures@sheffieldchildrens.org. For more information about the campaign, head to https://prideofyorkshire.org/
Run by Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity to raise money for and celebrate the 150th anniversary of Sheffield Children’s, Pride of Yorkshire is a region-wide sculpture trail uniting artists, businesses, schools and community groups across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley.
