Sheffield Employment and HR forum: Festive Employment Law roundup
Since our last workshop, the government has continued to advance its ambitious Employment Rights Bill, ushering in what promises to be the biggest transformation of employment law in a generation.
Alongside this, the first wave of reforms introduced in 2024 - including changes to sexual harassment laws - are now being tested in practice, with further updates expected in 2025.
To wrap up 2025 and help employers prepare for the likely challenges ahead, our Sheffield Employment team will be hosting their fourth and final workshop of the year at the Freeths Sheffield offices on Thursday 11 December 2025.
Join us as they discuss:
The next phase of the Employment Rights Bill and what employers should be doing now to prepare
Key case law developments from 2025 and their practical implications
Emerging HR trends and insights for the year ahead
What to look out for in 2026 and beyond
The workshop is intended to be informal and interactive, with attendees able to learn from each other as well as ask questions of our legal experts.
The workshop is free to attend and breakfast will be served from 8:30 ready for a prompt 9:00 start. To leave plenty of time for questions, the workshop will run to a slightly later than usual time of 11:00.
We expect this to be a very popular event, so please click the link now to confirm your place.
We look forward to seeing you on the 11 December!
