They are 20% of the population but 100% of our future.
If Sheffield is to achieve its full potential, our future is in their hands.
Why? Because if Sheffield is to be home to a more inclusive economy, we know we need to do more to invest in the potential of future generations from every community.
Future team members in successful companies. Future decision-makers shaping the city. Future leaders leading the way.
Despite that potential, as we head into winter the cold reality is that for too many young people in our city the devastating impacts of poverty weigh more heavily on their future. The rising cost of food and energy risks even more children facing a future with little opportunity.
These ideas sit at the centre of the Sheffield Chamber’s Reception to be held at Sheffield Cathedral on 20 October 2022.
Join Sheffield Chamber members and guests to network, hear inspiring stories of young achievement and to raise much needed funds for those charities battling to keep young people in our city safe and out of poverty.

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce will take donations directly and split them evenly between charities: Ellesmere Childrens Centre, DESA, ReachUp Youth, Saalik Youth, MASKK.
Dress code is smart/casual. A welcome drink and canapés will be provided.
