University of Sheffield Virtual Part-time Jobs Fair 2020
The University of Sheffield annual Part-time Jobs fair is traditionally a one day face-to-face event which takes place at the start of autumn. In 2020, the event will run virtually for 2 separate weeks (w/c 28th September and w/c 2nd November).
Organised by the Student Jobshop the fair brings together students looking for part-time work and local employers with opportunities.
If your organisation is looking to recruit students for paid part-time work then you have the opportunity to promote your roles to thousands of students looking for part-time work and to tell them about your organisation.
During these two weeks, the University plan to schedule a series of webinars and other virtual content from employers with part-time vacancies, as well as other Career Service content for their students.
If you are looking for reliable staff in any area and would be interested in exhibiting at this virtual fair, please email the Student Jobshop firstname.lastname@example.org. Please specify whether you’re interested in exhibiting during September or November.
At the Fair you can:
- promote your part-time/casual jobs (students can work for up to 16 hrs per week in term-time)
- recruit a pool of casual/bank workers to provide cover at busy times
- promote your organisation to students
As in previous years the University expect the fair to be well attended, last year over 2000 students visited the fair.
