"I've never been to a workshop before that starts with everyone being given a sprig of rosemary that we could inhale if we got a bit anxious, but I'm absolutely here for it."
Join us to explore how connecting with nature can boost your wellbeing. We will lead you on a gentle guided walk around local green space Parkwood Springs with the opportunity to try out some simple activities to help you notice the nature around us, its beauty, your emotions in nature and what it means to you.
Things to wear and what else you need to know:
-Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for getting outdoors (and possibly walking in woodland and muddy areas.) Parkwood Springs is reasonably accessible - however it does have some undulating paths which can be gravelly underfoot.
-The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles in total.
-Ensure you fill out the Basic Registration Form (that will come with your confirmation email after booking in.) That way you can tell us about any additional needs or considerations that we need to be aware of. We will always adapt our activities to suit you and your needs.
-Refreshments and light snacks will be available and our indoor space (at the Shirecliffe Centre) with toilets is available for your use before and after the walk. If the weather is very inclement we will remain indoors and do an alternative activity.
There are two upcoming sessions:
6th February and 13th March
