Challenge itinerary – Day 1
We set off early morning from Horton-in-Ribblesdale and begin our adventure with Pen-y-Ghent just under three miles away, our first taste of success. After descending, we push on towards Whernside, the highest of the three peaks, around 7.5 miles further on. From there, we continue to our third and final summit, Ingleborough, approximately five miles away. After taking in the views and a few victory photos, we complete the final 5½-mile trek back to Horton-in-Ribblesdale to celebrate together.

Throughout the day, you’ll be fully supported by qualified challenge leaders, with a minimum 1:10 guiding ratio, comprehensive first aid kits, radio communication between leaders, a backup support vehicle, and access to a 24-hour emergency on-call team. Lunch is included, along with complimentary snacks such as flapjack, crisps, sweets and fruit. You’ll also receive a route guide, challenge medal, and fizz at the finish.

By taking part, you’ll be helping Dragonfly Cancer Trust support children and young people facing cancer, providing activity boxes, memory-making experiences, keepsakes, cash gifts and emotional support for families during incredibly difficult times.

Whether you’re looking for a personal challenge, a team experience, or a meaningful way to give back, we’d love to welcome you along.

Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks with Team Dragonfly, and help us make each moment matter.
