Training Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions for training via Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce is committed to data protection and GDPR regulations. As such, Sheffield Chamber will never share your details with any third party. Should you wish to receive future correspondance from the Chamber please tick the relevant box on the booking form. By leaving the box unticked, this ensues you only receive correspondance relating to the training/webinar you booked on to.

Training may be photographed and/or filmed to be used in post event publicity. Should you not want to be included, please make the photographer aware on the day of the event.

Payment

An Invoice will be raised upon confirmation of booking. Full payment must be made 14 days before the first day of the course. Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry reserves the right not to allow delegates to attend courses unless full payment has been received. All invoices will be issued by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

All cheques should be made payable to Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

All courses are subject to VAT being added. Late payment may be subject to interest being added.

Late Payment

In the event of late payment Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part there of from the last date that payment was due to the date that payment was made.

Certificates

Delegate certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received.

Copy certificates will be charged a £25 + VAT administration fee.

Accreditation

Accreditation is governed by accrediting bodies and Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry can take no responsibility for candidates failing to meet accreditation requirements or for any other matter relating to accreditation criteria.

Transfering Delegates

Transferring of course delegates before the start of the initial course booking date is subject to fees outlined below:

Transfer Period Fee

  • More than 14 days £25.00
  • Less than 14 days full course fee

If that transfer is then cancelled and/or the delegate fails to attend, then the full fee remains payable.

Cancelling Courses

Cancellations to bookings made before the start of the course are subject to the costing table outlined below. If a booking is cancelled within 1 month of the course start date or if the delegate fails to attend the course, the full course fee must be paid.

Cancellation Fee

  • More than 1 Month No charge
  • Less than 1 Month Full course fee

Cancellation requests must be made in writing or e-mail training@scci.org.uk

Changing Delegate Details

There is no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace an existing delegate. Please inform us as soon as possible before the course start date.

Cancellation of the Course by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry

We reserve the right to cancel any course at any time without liability. In the unlikely event of this happening delegates would be offered an alternative date, course or a full refund. We reserve the right to alter course contents without prior notice as all of our courses are constantly updated to maintain a high standard of quality.

Times

  • Full day courses run from 9:30am to 4:30pm*
  • Half day courses run from 9:30am to 1:00pm*

Lunch

Lunch is provided with all full day programmes (unless in-company or specified otherwise); please advise our staff beforehand of any special dietary requirements.
