1000 new pieces and counting!!

12th September 2013

Champion Hire, the Sheffield-based Plant & Tool Hire Company, has added its 1000th new piece of plant to its fleet this year a Fairport Backfill Rammer.

Chris Nicholls, Manager of the company's Sheffield depot commented; -Backfill Rammers, along with other plate compactors, are one of our most popular items, and the new Fairport FPR60H is an ideal machine for the job.  It's easy to handle and is a very versatile machine."  "The manufacturer has made a number of improvements to this machine, and in particular has reconfigured it from a 2-stroke to a 4-stroke engine, so customers no longer need to worry about getting the fuel mix right, which will lead to less damage and less costs." Sheffield Sales Executive Andy Mettam added; -It's great to see our customers getting busier, but that's been putting pressure on demand for  our rammers.  New plant is always popular, and our customers always ask for  and get the best.
