A brew-tastic fundraiser

11th December 2018

A tasty tipple has been making a difference for families facing the toughest of times across the region.

Every time beer lovers bought a pint of limited edition charity beer 'Brewbell Wood' this year, ten pence was donated to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. Sheffield-based Abbeydale Brewery has now sold out of the 4.1% hoppy pale, and raised £1,183 for the charity that supports children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. The beer was a hit when it made its debut at the brewery's festival, Sunfest 2018, and went on to sell well at pubs and bars around the region. David Hall, Corporate Fundraiser, Bluebell Wood, said: -We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Abbeydale Brewery for using their creative brewing skills to make a difference for the families supported by Bluebell Wood. "Every penny raised helps us to continue offering the range of services that families need, from end of life treatment and care and counselling to music therapy and short breaks.
