A Deliciously Moreish Taste of Yorkshire

17th May 2017

Based in Wales Bar on the outskirts of Sheffield, The Yorkshire Crisp Company produces a deliciously moreish range of gourmet crisps and luxury popcorn.

Yorkshire Crisps are made from carefully selected potatoes grown on the Yorkshire Wolds and are hand cooked in hot sunflower oil for a few minutes then seasoned with 100% natural flavourings whilst still warm. With ten delectable flavours including vegetarian and gluten-free options, there's sure to be something for everyone. The award-winning company introduced Yorkshire Popcorn in 2015 and it has been a great success. It's available in a traditional range which includes sweet and salted versions and also three flavours of air-popped, mouth-watering, luxury toffee-coated popcorn for those with a sweeter tooth. All products in the two ranges are free from monosodium glutamate, artificial flavourings, colourings or anything genetically modified and have SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) certification. Proud of its Yorkshire heritage, even the company's unique re-sealable, stay-fresh drums in which both Yorkshire Crisps and Yorkshire Popcorn are available are manufactured in Yorkshire! Said Tim Wheatley of The Yorkshire Crisp Company: -We want our products to stand out from the crowd and our aim is for consumers from all over Great Britain to be able to enjoy a taste of Yorkshire via our crisps and popcorn. Yorkshire Crisps are available in 100g and 50g drums and 40g and 150g bags in selected flavours. Yorkshire Popcorn is available in 40g drums (Traditional range) and 90g drums (Luxury toffee range). Look out for a brand new product plus a new limited edition speciality flavour of Yorkshire Crisps coming soon!
