Connect, socialise and build new business opportunities! Working with PeasAboveSticks, we will provide a networking event which will entertain and up-skill you.

  Actors will engage attendees in scenarios to show just how easy and effective networking can be. The mood will be light hearted and inclusive and use 'forum theatre' techniques.  Delegates WILL NOT take part in any role play but will work together in small groups to find solutions to issues faced by our characters. You'll make connections in a way you never thought possible! A light-hearted event that really gets to the core of networking effectively, including: how to make effective connections with other members/non-members how to make seamless transitions between social conversation and business opportunities generating a sense of belonging, growth and influence for Sheffield Chamber's members raise awareness of thinking locally, acting globally how to put people, customers at the heart of our business how to identify the type of customers that we want to do business with. Two other scenes will take place to explore: how to have balanced conversations where it doesn't feel that one person is being 'sold to' how to effectively and meaningfully exchange business cards how to walk into a roomful of professionals and business people how to engage without talking about the weather or the journey! how to 'butt into' conversations and not to be left stranded how to avoid failing, blaming and saying 'it was a waste of time'.
