A Welcome to Reza Zaher and Mark Stevenson as Two New Roles Created

7th August 2019

A warm welcome to Reza Zaher and Mark Stevenson who have joined ITI after recent contract wins and renewals led to the need for additional permanent staff.

ITI Network Services is delighted to announce the appointments of Reza Zaher as Client Director and Mark Stevenson as Senior Project Manager. Reza Zaher, 54, joins ITI with significant experience working for network providers, spending the past after 7 years with O2 (Telefónica UK) and 11 years prior to that with TMobile. An electronic RF (radio frequency) engineer by trade, he has designed mobile phones, receivers, transmitters and networks and brings extensive expertise of cellular network optimisation and planning. His role will involve project and programme delivery management with multiple clients spanning a range of telecommunications technology. ITI works with Europe's largest communications companies providing telecommunications services and infrastructure in some of the most demanding environments and recent contract wins and renewals have lead to a requirement for additional permanent staff. -It's truly exciting to join ITI at a point where the business is developing so fast, just like the industry, said Reha Zaher. -New technology including the 5G rollout, astonishing increases in network speed and latency and the uptake of the Internet of Things will be game-changing for the telecoms industry and our customers. The industry depends on dynamic and trustworthy suppliers and I'm thrilled to bring my knowledge to such an agile firm with a superb reputation and client portfolio." -Reza is a welcome addition to further strengthen ITI's excellent team, said Jason Denmark, CEO of The Templand Group, -and his expertise and experience will be of enormous benefit to our clients." Mark Stevenson, 48, has spent over two decades working in the telecoms and related industries, before which he enjoyed a 5 year career in the Army's Royal Corps of Signals. He takes up the permanent role at ITI having undertaken varied projects with the fast-growing firm in the past as a self-employed contractor. -I welcome the varied day to day challenges ITI brings, which enables me to keep up to date with current and new technologies, said Mark Stevenson. -I've worked with ITI on different projects over the last 10 years and have maintained close relationships with long serving members of the wider group. I remember ITI in the early days being a small company providing structured cabling services. It's great to see how the company has evolved into its current prominent position in the market by providing a greater depth of services, to a wide range of blue chip clients and look forward to being part of it. Dave Newton, Commercial Director of ITI Network Services, said: -I've known Mark since 1999 and worked with him on a number of occasions over the years. Mark is a talented and hard-working telecoms expert who has always gone 'above and beyond' when contracting with ITI. It was a logical choice to bring him on board as a permanent team member. "I'm pleased that recent growth means our business expansion continues. Recruiting Mark to this new, permanent role brings valuable expertise and experience to the business and our UK-wide clients. ITI Network Services is part of The Templand Group of businesses, providing expertise in fixed, mobile and wireless telecommunications surveys, procurement, installations, testing, support and maintenance; and electrical installations, testing, maintenance and surveys.
