Afternoon Tea gets Festive Feel at Ferndale

12th December 2013

The quintessentially English afternoon tea gets a festive feel at award-winning Ferndale garden centre, Coal Aston as Santa's in the house.

Always popular, the treat tea now both turkey and onion chutney with Wensleydale cheese sandwiches, bottomless tea and filter coffee, a mini mince pie, iced star biscuit and small cream scone- all homemade- at only £12 for two. Jaqui Copley, managing director of Sheffield-based Elite Swimwear Group is a regular café customer. -I loved my Christmas afternoon tea this weekend. Says Jaqui. -The turkey and salmon sandwiches were absolutely delicious, the handmade mince pies were scrumptious and the little gingerbread Christmas trees were crispy and tasty.  Afternoon tea is always a great experience at Ferndale and we look forward to our visits very much.  The Christmas twist makes it even better, as do the lovely faces of the children gazing at Father Christmas.  We'll be back as always. Ferndale coffee shop is open from 9am-5pm Monday Saturday and 10.30am-4.30pm on Sundays with free parking. All food and drink is available to takeaway.
