Sheffield agency celebrates Northern roots by being shortlisted Two years running at the Northern Digital Awards

24th January 2024

Sheffield based digital marketing agency, Wildcat Digital, kickstarts the new year with two nominations at the 10th Northern Digital Awards, an acclaimed regional ceremony that recognises the very best in digital marketing campaigns.

Headquartered in the steel city’s cultural, creative and digital hub inside the Showroom Workstation, the agency has grown exponentially in size and client numbers since it was formed in 2018 by founder and MD Will Hitchmough. Will made his first hire in October 2020 and the team has expanded from a headcount of one to nineteen in just three years. His ambitious growth plans for the next five years include growing to a 250 person agency. This reflects the recent growth in their client portfolio, working with 65 brands ranging from regional businesses to nationally recognised, household names.

Having established themselves as digital marketing leaders within the North, the agency is close to hitting its first million-pound year in 2024. Setting its sights on national level success, their vision is to become recognised as the best digital marketing agency in the UK.

Ecstatic to have made it through to the final stages of the Northern Digital awards two years running, the team are well on their way to achieving their aspiring goals. Serving as a reminder of how strong the digital sector is within the North, the awards celebrate the work of outstanding agencies, teams and campaigns. As a small team of digital professionals, Wildcat are thrilled to have been given an opportunity to showcase Northern talent at its finest.

Shortlisted Awards

Wildcat has been shortlisted for the following:

- Best Low Budget Campaign – Wildcat Digital & Flagmakers – Royal Performance on a Budget

- Best Integrated Campaign – Wildcat Digital and Your Sexual Health – Testing The Limits of Digital Performance

The campaign with Your Sexual Health aimed to recover sales and traffic to pre-pandemic levels. On top of surpassing the seven figure revenue target, the team also gained eight 80DA+ backlinks, including The Daily Star and Yahoo News.
