Airmaster Director Hikes Highland Hills for Bluebell Wood Hospice

15th May 2014

Airmaster director Richard Pogson and the firm's Growth Accelerator coach John Barnett, have just completed the world famous West Highland Way long distance footpath to raise funds for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, based near the firm's headquarters in Rotherham.

John explained, -At 96 miles from North of Glasgow to FortWilliam in the Highlands, it was a real challenge in five days. We only have this picture on completion because during the really difficult parts, we were too busy staying upright to take photographs! The toughest part was just after we got to the top of the Devil's Staircase, a climb of 540 metres just above the snow line. Airmaster, the air conditioning and heating specialists have grown from a one man start-up in 1992, to employing 26 staff working nationwide from their Swallownest premises on the Sheffield-Rotherham border today. Richard added, -We would like to thank everyone, including our own staff who supported us and this brilliant cause to help some of South Yorkshire's very poorliest children. With the £1700 we donated to Bluebell Wood in September for the purchase of canteen equipment, we are delighted to have raised almost £3000 to date, which makes all the blisters worthwhile.  Anyone wishing to donate to Bluebell Wood can still go to their Just Giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Richard-Pogson More information from Airmaster on 0114 2889911 www.airmaster.uk.com
