An award winning end of the year for Rare

18th December 2013

2013 has ended on a high for Rare Creative Group who has won the Sheffield Enterprise Agency Excellence in Professional Services award at the recent Sheffield Business Awards.

Organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry and The Star newspaper, the annual awards are a highlight in the local business calendar. To win the award, Rare demonstrated excellence in business management, under-pinned by a strong financial performance. In the past two years Rare more than doubled revenues, achieving growth by an expansion of its client base and service portfolio, and demonstrated a track record of outstanding results and value against client objectives. The evening was a double celebration for Rare, who is currently ranked #26 in the RAR Top Agencies Outside of London, with client Polypipe Building Products winning the Marketing Team of the Year and Best Use of Press and Public Relations at the 2013 Construction Marketing Awards, which was held in London on the same day. This is the second Sheffield Business Award for Rare who won the Digital Industries, Innovation & Technology Award at last year's event. Rare's Managing Director Steve Bellingham said of the recent win: -To win a second Sheffield Business Award pays tribute to the continued hard work of our team and it is great this has been recognised by the local business community. 2013 has been another successful year for the company and I am delighted that we will be starting the New Year on such a positive note. Rare has had a number of other award successes this year including a commendation at the 2013 MiAwards in the Best B2B Marketing Strategy or Campaign category for their work with Polypipe Plumbing and Heating. They have also recently been included as one of just two Sheffield agencies in the Prolific North Top 50 Integrated Agencies 2013.
