AS Music School Wins Big £500 Donation for Local PACT Charity

22nd July 2021

Thanks to a recent Euros 2020 Charity Sweepstake, local charity, PACT (the Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia), are getting a huge donation of £500 from sweepstake winner, AS Music School.

Run by Sheffield FC & Hydra Creative, the sweepstake aimed to encourage local companies to have fun post-lockdown. The prizes included a £500 charity donation provided by award-winning digital agency, Hydra Creative, as well as an 1857 sponsorship package with the world's first football club, Sheffield FC.

Karl Sheehan, a Partner at AS Music School, said: “We were all rooting for an England win on Sunday evening but winning the sweepstake was a great silver lining. We have really enjoyed working with Hydra Creative on our website and SEO over the past year and it was good of them to organise the sweepstake.

“PACT is a charity which is close to our hearts and does some truly amazing work at The Sheffield Children's Hospital. It is very generous of Hydra Creative to donate to them on our behalf. We are also excited about partnering with Sheffield FC for the upcoming season and seeing our school's branding around the pitch at The Home of Football.”

Working closely with Sheffield Children’s Hospital, PACT is a charity that helps aid in supporting families and children, that have been affected by cancer and leukaemia. The charity helps to provide new facilities at hospitals, such as warm and welcoming spaces that visiting children can enjoy while receiving treatment. PACT also provides trips away, so families get a chance to escape the hospital setting and enjoy much needed quality time together.

Keith Tarry, Business Development Manager at Hydra Creative, added: “The Euro Business sweepstake has been a great success and it’s been wonderful to see so many local businesses support the campaign, all spurred on by the success of the England football team. For AS Music School to choose the incredible charity, PACT, for us to make the donation to - it rounded off the campaign nicely.”
