Best Solicitors sponsor the Sheffield Eagles

21st March 2016

John Booth, a partner at Best Solicitors explains that it was an easy decision to respond to the invitation to sponsor the Sheffield Eagles, -The partners and staff here at Best consider ourselves a local practice committed to supporting community teams and other worthwhile projects at a local level.

John goes on to say, -The Eagles have a great squad of players for 2016 and in Mark Aston and Keith Senior have two of the finest and determined coaches. We want to support the Eagles in this exciting season where their aim is for promotion to the Super League and plans are underway for their move to their permanent home back at Don Valley. John and Imogine Turner, business development manger at Best, met the staff and squad for team photographs. -The lads really are a cracking bunch and are looking forward to a successful season. Linking rugby to law John comments, -Rugby league is said to be the hardest team game. All of the players need to train hard and keep fit on and off the field. Individuals have a particular role but must bring their skills together and blend as a team. Working in a legal practice has some similarities but hopefully without too many of the bone crunching tackles! All the team at Best have gone through years of training and bring their personal skills to the practice. Everyone has a responsibility to ensure from top to bottom a dedicated and professional service is delivered. The funds provided by Best will be used to develop the Eagles 'Schools Project' where players and staff go into schools to enable young people to learn about the game and to embed the importance of health and fitness. John continues, -I am delighted we can make it possible for the young people of Sheffield to become involved. The importance of taking up a sport and keeping busy is widely acknowledged and team sport, such as rugby league, helps to build character and friendships. We hope lots of young people take this opportunity and the Eagles stars of the future will be discovered.
